Some higher education institutions offer doctoral degree program (PhD) to students in different study fields. Doctoral degree consists of two parts in universities of Spain.First part consists of 60 ECTS to be completed in class room and second part is based on research in relevant field. Students are allowed to complete 60 ECTS in class room within three years. Therefore, part time student can complete class room ECTS in maximum five years.
